Google Transit

Growing up in Las Vegas has taught me the dread of sprawling  suburbs and bad public transit. Vegas is a must drive city, but being stuck in traffic in 120 degree plus weather is the pits. After visiting Boston, Paris, and London my love for public transportation developed. Living in Syracuse and Seattle has only increased it. I love public transportation that is reliable, efficient, quick, and inexpensive.

I am only too glad to finally see that Google now offers a public transit planner, for select cities. This Friday I am heading to Portland for the American Association of Law Librarians (AALL) conference. This online resource will prove itself invaluable, for years to come.
