The law firm in which I work offers wellness seminars, providing an opportunity to learn from a professional in a given field on a topic that improves physical and/or mental health. This month happened to be on gratitude. A psychology professor from UC Davis explained the health benefits of being grateful. It’s surprising that something as simple as gratitude can effect one’s health and how they are perceived. I won’t try to explain his studies, but here they are in digestible form:
