I’m not going to tackle this issue as whole but on the library level. Their list of demands is odd, given that NYU is a private college. They should do their research first, as they demand, “General public access to Bobst library “. Whilst a private institution has the right to limit their library to students, faculty, etc.; they can’t if they are a Federal Depository, receiving Government funding. -and Bobst is. Lastly, the library is doubly open to the public, see Taminent Archive on the 10th floor of Bobst Library.
Access information, seek it out, and determine the facts before listing, speaking, writing, and blathering. Loads of data exists, out in the real world, and your librarian can help you sift through it.
